Xiaomi Piston 3 Pro In-ear Headphones
Xiaomi has been in the race to produce a number of its competitive flagship smartphones. Along with these smartphones, the company has launched many smartphone accessories to enhance user experience. One of such accessory is the Piston series of earphones. Xiaomi has launched its new in-ear headphones called the Piston 3 pro. The availability of the headphones in other countries is not announced, but it is expected to be release in its home country, China on Friday.
The earphones have been revealed just after a few days from the launch of the sports-focused headset, Mi Sports Bluetooth. The new headphones have a CNC diamond cut aluminium sound chamber with an anodised surface. It has a CD pattern engraved design and a Graphene diaphragm. As per the company, with all these specifications, it would surely delight users with more natural sounds and tri-band balance. The headset will be initially available in China for Rs. 1488.48 approximately (149 Yuan, $21.99). It would be available on November 11 in China, but the global availability and pricing are not yet clear.
The handset is said to have gone through 700 quality test processes claiming it to be tougher than the usual industry benchmark. The company is boasting that these new headphones are extremely durable. The all new Piston 3 Pro features some technical features which include impedance value of 32 Ohms and a frequency range of 20-40KHz. The headset is 1.25 meter long with three control buttons along the line. These buttons enable users to switch from one track to another, play a song or pause a song.
Xiaomi has ditched the usual flat wires of earphones. Instead, round wires made of TPE with matte finish have replaced them. The main earbuds are said to fit conveniently into the ears. These ear buds are bent to 45 degrees to keep them from falling off in the case of the change in position. The company has also squeezed four sizes of silicon soft skin ear plugs in the headset to minimise the irritation in the ear. The handset comes with three silicone ear buds and a travel bag.
The earphones are optimised to work smoothly with the Xiaomi built phones. Though it is expected that non-Xiaomi users would be able to get the most out of the headset by some audio settings in the device. Users can customise their sound experience as per the smartphone they are using.
Now the wait is for the headphones to be released in India so that Indians may get the best experience too.
